You could probably do Tainan in two days, take the HSR from Taipei and it'll be less than 90 mins. You could probably even check out Kaohsiung too since it's not that far from Tainan. I booked a trip, also after Taipai where should I go as a second city. Showers at TPE T2 – I didn't go about looking for the one/s at Arrival.
