They will tell you 20 mins for a takeaway order yet they don't start cooking it until you get there so it becomes 40+ mins. They are not phased and shrug shoulders. This has happened many times and customers of a different ethnicity are treated very differently. We will go elsewhere as this is becoming the norm at Jade Kew and not a one off. Everything, including the rice, noodles, spring rolls, squid, crispy chilli beef and more, had clearly been microwaved. The rice was like a pudding, the fried items were chewy and tough, and not at all “crispy”. Even the sweet and sour pork which of course is in a sauce, sichuan restaurant had been nuked and the sauce did little to save the texture of the battered pork. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such a bad meal. Maybe it was a bad evening, they were super busy, rushed etc? But the food should never have been microwaved as it clearly had been.
While the interiors are not fancy, friendly staff more than make up for it. We had our wedding lunch there -- just a small wedding, so there were only 14 of us -- and it was absolutely brilliant. The staff were really accommodating and helpful, the food was lovely, the drinks were brilliant, and the price was reasonable. Couldn't have chosen a better location. Excellent Cantonese fare at reasonable prices. Basically pacific seafood but $20 cheaper pp. loved the beef dish and the crab + noodles are flavoursome.
Hands down the best Chinese takeaway in London. Extremely clean, high quality, never greasy and tasty Chinese food. Highly recommend the vegetarian chicken dish .
Co-owned by Sudden Alberts, the restaurant has stylish interiors and an extensive menu that ranges from samosas, kormas and rogan josh to grilled sea bass. Are you looking for the best chinese restaurant in Kew Gardens? Look no further than New China Fresh. This eatery serves up some of the most delicious chinese cuisine around. Quite impressed by their food actually when I was only expecting another average Chinese restaurant for a quick meal. Complimentary soup is hearty, dishes were full of flavours.
My husband had the oyster beef, and he enjoyed every mouthful. The decor, the ambience, the staff, the food and the service here make this classy and quality restaurant worth every penny. For the experience, this place is great value for money. Food not only tastes good, it is a work of art at Jade Kew Chinese Restaurant on Walpole Street. Very nice Malaysian restaurant in Kew, accessible by transport, two tram services. The atmosphere is Malaysian and the inside is quite nice.
The food was stone cold when it arrived, we had to reheat it ourselves. The sweet and sour sauce was like water, it was thin and pale. The spring rolls were over £6 for only two?! The chow mein was dry and tasteless. So disappointing and a massive waste of money.
Enter your address to see if NIhao kitchen delivery is available to your location in Melbourne. The staff were friendly and served me prominently and since I went quite early I was even able to have a little chat with one of their waitresses. Personally I don't think they are expensive.
Staff was attentive and location is perfect as well. Beef nasi lemak was delicious - hot and fragrant rice with tender beef. The curry puff was v crispy and the filling was very tasty. Will go back again many other dishes to try. I don't like Chinese food, but I doo love the Chinese food at Giolden Inn Laurieton.
Yes, we have a range of main meals, all served with your choice of boiled or fried rice for $12. My family and I all love the food that they provide. Always tasty, high quality and quantity. There was a fantastic chinese restaurant in Kew called "Kew Rendezvous"..... Pretty much once or twice a week (this was about 15 years ago!).
Overall is good, we would love to go back again. Chicken, beef, roast pork, and shrimp with mixed vegetables. The staff are super friendly and customer service is great. As an English only speaker there is some difficulty in communicating but this is more than made up by there fantastic attitude. This place is our go to place for dumplings in Kew and have been there many times in the past. They don't have their own web site however the menu log version of their menu worked fine and the order worked fine.
Soups were full of tofu and very little amount of chicken. For the pork item it was same, full of onions amd capsicums. Literally you can count the numbers of shredded pork pieces. I was totally disappointed with the food. Expected much better with this price. Honestly one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in a long time.
