His extensive career in television also includes the satirical Larry Sanders Show. While appearing on a Season 3 episode of Will & Grace, Piven played Grace's ex-boyfriend, and as Debra Messing recalled to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live! "You know, I had to kiss a lot of boys on that show. And we were rehearsing, and the very first day of rehearsal, he shoved his tongue all the way down to my heart." Diane Gonzalez, a background extra who met Piven on the set of the Ellen sitcom, said in 1996 when she visited his Los Angeles home, Piven exposed himself to her and became physically aggressive, making her feel threatened. Another woman who asked not to be identified said around the year 1994 Piven tried to force himself on her in a Montreal hotel room and pushed her against the wall. Piven vehemently denied all of the allegations made against him and threatened to pursue legal action. “Let me be absolutely clear, this simply did not happen,” he told BuzzFeed News in a statement through his lawyers at the time. I cannot speak as to why a person would create a story like this.” Representatives for Piven also provided BuzzFeed News with the results of a polygraph test.
He tells us what he thinks might bring Mark into the fold this time around. Mark was a co-executive producer on the OG show and Jeremy says it's just a matter of Mark stepping up to the plate and giving fans what they're clamoring for. Mark recently went on the record in support of an "Entourage" comeback, but he hasn't committed to starring in a potential series ... On November 27, 2017, CBS pulled the plug on "Wisdom of the Crowd", which Piven had been the star of, in light of the allegations as well as bad ratings. In January 2018, Buzzfeed published an article in which three more women accused Piven Jeremy Piven of sexual misconduct or inappropriate behavior. Buzzfeed News corroborated the stories with eight people who said the women had shared the encounters with them. Among his many notable roles, Piven is best known as movie agent Ari Gold in the hit series Entourage, which aired for eight seasons and won Piven three Emmy® Awards and a Golden Globe®.
Reality TV personality Ariane Bellamar made accusations via Twitter in October 2017 that Piven had groped her. Cassidy Freeman came to Bellamar's defense via Instagram when she alluded to her own disturbing past with Piven, who the actress claims engaged in predatory behavior toward her. A week later, advertising exec Tiffany Bacon Scourby alleged Piven had sexually assaulted her in 2003.
