I highly recommend Aspire Pakenham to new families as the staff are incredibly dedicated, always creating a warm welcoming environment for the children. There’s excellent teamwork among the staff, they collaborate well to ensure each child’s needs are met. The facilities are top-notch as well, with plenty of outdoor and indoor activities that keep kids engaged and excited to learn. The Victorian Government provides families up to 15 hours of free kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy.
Children thrive in our structured Bush Kinder program, designed to connect with nature and enhance social and emotional development in all environments. We also have a cook at the centre providing tasty and nutritious meals for the children when tummies start to growl and can cater to any dietary kindergarten near pakenham needs. If you have an infant, we spend one-on-one time with them to establish a connection. We use songs, games, and conversations to strengthen relationships and build language skills.

Reading and role-playing are frequent activities in our Pakenham curriculum. Recently, children in Woodland Kinder room explored the beloved book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. As they read, the children got to "feed" the caterpillar, learning about the days of the week, counting, nutrition, and the life cycle of a butterfly. Little Stars recognises that parents are the first and continuing carers and educators of their children. The centre aims to function as an extended family, providing a secure and trusted environment. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared to cater to each child's dietary and allergy needs, ensuring every little foodie is well-nourished and satisfied. It also provides updates through the year on child activities and centre events. In these yoga sessions the children learn different yoga stretches and poses. Practicing yoga helps the children understand their movements and abilities more deeply, which also increases their confidence and helps to strengthen their growing bodies.
Aspire Pakenham recently held their three-year old graduation ceremony in January, which was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our class of 2023. This ceremony was held at the Pakenham centre in the Woodland 3-year-old kinder room with children and their families all invited. During the ceremony, the children shared songs they learnt throughout the year, and signed their names with stamps as an official goodbye to their 3-year-old class. A presentation was also given by the educators and management team, and certificates were handed out to the children.

We are proud to be a diverse business that embraces all cultures and traditions in our community. The team works collaboratively to provide tailored care and learning for children, and actively work to provide a safe, secure, warm and homelike environment where children can thrive. The centre has a range of age-specific programs where children can play, develop, and participate in a way that reflects their unique strengths and interests. Last month the Kinder rooms also went on an excursion to the local Pakenham library. One of the kinder teachers dressed as Pete the Cat and read Pete the Cat story books.
Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship. Play is the order of the day of Goodstart Early Learning and the programs at the centre are grounded in a play-based approach. The educators embed teaching and learning into play experiences, helping the children to make sense of the world around them. This is how the children learn about how things work and develop important foundational relationships and skills. At Goodstart Pakenham, each and every educator is dedicated to the care and development of children, through inclusive relationships and high quality learning.
