The nightlife in neighbourhoods like Kings Cross and Surry Hills offers vibrant bars like The Baxter Inn and live music venues for students who want to relax.

Over two stories we have an extensively stocked main bar, restaurant and dining room, a spacious outdoor balcony, big pool room with large screen + surround sound and gaming and sports facilities. Hidden behind a sandstone wall, the former convict-built Darlinghurst Gaol houses the National Art School, which has a great gallery you can visit. Upstairs there’s an open air terrace with a vertical garden bar where they grow their own herbs for cocktails, or you can try one of the many craft beers in the sun.
Pan Divino has all the charm of the sort Italian osteria you might stumble upon in a hill town in Tuscany. But rather than being in the Italian countryside, the restaurant is housed in a charming heritage-listed corner terrace in Surry Hills. Invite your nonno along to enjoy the crudo bar that is the only one of its kind in Sydney’s inner east. It’s here you will be treated to oysters shucked to order and yellowfin tuna, snapper and silver trevally dressed to impress. The intimate 1912 terrace is so homey you will feel like you’ve been invited to your benevolent uncle’s for dinner.
Our room had a working induction cooker, complete cooking utensils. So better ask them within these hours if you need something. From the glitz and glamour of the Star City Casino and trendy King Street Wharf in Darling Harbor to the waves of the Northern beaches, Sydney is full of great restaurants, bars and shopping. The Langham Sydney, Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, and Wildlife Retreat at Taronga got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Sydney.
