I want to be part of helping people regain their best quality of life. All walks of life and all people deserve to feel their best, being an RMT is a great way to help people achieve that. I want to be a RMT so I can possibly help alleviate any ongoing pain, discomfort, or stress an individual may be experiencing through the use of manual therapy and be able to make a positive change in their life. Before taking the RMT program at VCMT, I studied architecture and interior design. After three years working for BC Hydro, I decided to pursue my passion for massage therapy. My favorite thing is the professional atmosphere in the classroom where instructors are passionate and more than willing to share experiences, tips and advice about massage therapy.

VMCT provides the tools and environment to grow and thrive, and I feel nurtured by every staff faculty member. I was pursuing a degree in computer science, but decided to change my studies to focus more on kinesiology and eventually massage therapy. The biggest reason why I chose to become an RMT is because I love working with people and the idea of improving their mental and physical well being using a holistic approach. I graduated with a Criminology degree and took many kin courses throughout my time in university.
