Art Est Art School has succumbed to the pressures that have impacted many galleries, art schools and other creative businesses in 绘画班 eastwood the past couple of years. The business has struggled since we relocated due to higher costs, including overheads, materials etc, and a softening economy making it harder to fill and maintain classes.

WAC users have access to a wide range of professionally equipped studios. There are three large adaptable studios used for painting and drawing, as well as ceramics, printmaking, jewellery & sculpture studios, with space also for children’s art. The WAC is supported by a group of over 30 independent teaching artists offering first-rate tuition across 60 classes each week. By joining our Creative Kids art program Australia, your child will receive individualised attention, explore different artistic mediums, and gain confidence in their abilities.
“Our granddaughters thoroughly enjoyed + got much out of the afternoon. At first both were a little apprehensive but staff really professional at encouraging girls to experiment with different media. The combined challenges of reduced consumer spending and rising costs have made it financially unsustainable, despite the resilience and dedication of everyone involved. For the past 17 years, Art Est Art School has been my passion and pride. Opening the school in 2008 was one of the most rewarding and fulfilling decisions I have ever made.
My two boys have been coming to Shichida for almost two years now. I have seen their independence grow and their ability to remember and learn increase. My oldest son is now reading at almost a grade two level at the end of Prep last year.

Our school Principal, Xu Phil, has won the Rotary Club "Community Service Award" and the "Excellent Chinese Language Education Award"  jointly issued by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council and the China Overseas Exchange Association. The award aims to encourage outstanding teachers who have been working in the field of education for a long time. The award is not only a recognition of Principal Xu Phil, but also a great encouragement to our school's Chinese language education.

These classes are designed to help kids develop creative thought, inspire imagination, encourage self expression and foster artistic potential. Throughout the term, we discover the world of art through a variety of themes. An informal and friendly art course designed for those interested in gaining a better understanding and appreciation of fine art. You’ll feel inspired not only by the studio itself, but the gorgeous views it boasts of Maroubra beach. Classes explore drawing and painting with a variety of materials and techniques including acrylic, oil paint and wet and dry drawing materials such as ink, pastels and charcoal.
And being the presenting partner of the GreenWay Art Prize, Art Est has always been about nurturing creativity and connection. We’ve supported local schools and community initiatives, adapted through the challenges of COVID-19, and celebrated the joy of art in so many ways. Over these years, Art Est has grown to become so much more than an art school—it has been a space where creativity and community thrived.
